Today is the first official day of Fall 2022, which means the vibrant colors of leaf season are just around the corner. As the air turns crisper and shades of red, yellow, and orange begin to sweep through the mountains, we have a variety of activities and events planned throughout the next month for you to enjoy autumn to the fullest. It all leads up to our annual HOA Weekend starting October 27th, right as peak color season in our area comes to a close. We'll cover it all in this weeks Bear Prints. |

A Heartfelt Message from HOA Manager Mike Whitmer

I'm writing to let you all know that, having been presented with an enormously exciting career opportunity, I'll be moving on from my role here at Bear Lake effective October 7th. This change represents a mixture of profound excitement for my professional future, as well as the bittersweet knowledge that I will miss this community and its members dearly.
During my time at Bear Lake Reserve, I have come to know many of our owners as much more than just clients. The BLR family have all been instrumental in my personal and professional growth over these last ten years, and it has been a great privilege to work with all of you.
With that said, I won't simply disappear overnight! I will still be helping on a consultative basis for some time after the departure from my full-time role, and hope to continue to visit the community for many years to come. In fact - maybe one day, you'll even have me as a neighbor!
Until then, I want to sincerely thank everyone in the community, members and team alike, for everything over the years. Bear Lake Reserve is at the precipice of an era of incredible growth, and the trajectory the community is on currently is truly exciting to see. I can't wait to see what the team is able to accomplish over the next several years, and I know that our owners are in great hands. I wish you all the best, and hope to see you at the lake soon!

The Catamounts are off to an excellent start in the 2022 football season. After an opening weekend victory over Charleston Southern and a close game against Power-5 opponent Georgia Tech, the Cats dominated Presbyterian 77-21 in their home opener at Whitmire Stadium. We had a blast tailgating, enjoying the victory, and honoring our good friends Chef Santi and Crystal at halftime for their outstanding work throughout our community.
